It is the oldest building found in Germany.
It was built for Telefunken in 1906 by Architect Hermann Muthesius. Until 1991 it was in use by Radio Berlin International. |

Antenna 5 and transmitter building.
On the right you see a landmark from old times.
It is a piece of a Coax Balun left over when the antenna was in use by Radio Berlin International from the German Democratic Republic. The transmitter then was in a building on the right of the Balun. That building has been demolished. |
